The next World Quiz will be Saturday, June 1, 2019, Sequoya Branch Library, 4340 Tokay Blvd., Madison, WI 53711. Doors open by 10:45 am. Quiz begins 11 am, ends about 1:30 pm.

The World Quizzing Championships have been held annually since 2003 and now take place in over 140 venues in 45 countries around the world.  The quiz is a written test taken on the same day everywhere, consisting of 240 questions across a broad variety of culturally-diverse subjects.

The Madison, Wisconsin area is a world-class academic hub and an active pub trivia center, and thus an ideal regional locale for this challenging mind sport. The quiz is free and open to all but seating is limited so a pre-registration email is required, especially if you plan to travel from out-of-town.

PARKING & OTHER INFORMATION


The Sequoya Branch public library is located in the shopping center at South Midvale Blvd.

and Tokay Blvd. on Madison's west side.   MAP
 

The simplest route to the venue from outside the area is via Exit 258 of the West Beltline Highway. From there, travel north on Midvale Blvd. about 1.25 miles. Turn right onto Tokay Blvd., then left on Caromar Drive.

The entrance to the parking lot will be on the left.
 

If the shopping center's free parking lot is full, unlimited free street parking is available east of the lot.
Madison Metro Transit bus routes 7 &18 have Saturday service to Midvale/Tokay intersection.

Snacks and non-alcoholic lidded beverages are allowed in the library meeting room,

but please do not bring anything smelly or noisy.
